Last week I was thrilled to connect over dinner with the Creative Director of Foundrae, Beth Bugdaycay, while she was visiting Seattle. In the early 1990’s, Beth and her close friend, Rebecca Taylor, launched the well-known brand, Rebecca Taylor. After successfully co-founding the company and leading as CEO for 18 years, Beth just recently embarked on a new path. Beth created Foundrae, a truly unique collection of apparel and fine jewelry. Headquartered in NYC, the brand debuted its first fine jewelry and apparel line for Fall 2015, which I am so excited to be wearing in today’s post!
I’m wearing the Foundrae slouchy cardigan made of cashmere and contrasting lambskin leather, it is the softest yet chicest cardigan I’ve ever met. Foundrae’s modern sophistication and unexpected punctuations of luxe details are really exciting to me. This piece is a staple and statement all at the same time. For an easy fall look, I’ve paired the sweater with coordinating black skinny jeans. To play up the metal embellishments around the leather, I wore my Valentino Noir Rockstud Leather Pumps. I like how the studs echo the metal details in the cardigan – I think it brings the whole look together.
