Antique Reclaimed Whitewashed French Doors
I am currently in the process of renovating various parts of my new home. Instead of hiring a designer, I’ve decided to take on the role myself. From floor plans, lighting design, selecting hardware, and more - it’s all on me. It’s been an exciting yet exhausting task… to say the least!
My new primary bedroom includes an entrance to my closet and another to my bathroom. As a result, I had to source doors for each. Since much of the space was being renovated (and would have a “brand new” feeling) I opted to search the internet for antique whitewashed French doors to balance all of the “new” with something old yet beautiful. And are they beautiful!
I searched all over trying to find the perfect pair. They needed to be the right size and I needed two sets. Etsy had a lot of great options but I found the perfect pair (well pairs) at Antiquities Warehouse located in Arizona (I am definitely stopping by their storefront location next time I’m in town). They were the perfect size and I grabbed them while I could.
I’ve been waiting months to see how the doors look installed and just a few days ago my contractor installed the doors for me - I am so in love that I had to share a sneak peak. I can’t wait to share more images with the hardwood floors showing. Up next on my to-do list is to find the perfect handles for the doors.
