Barceló Bávaro Palace

I recently traveled to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It was my first time in the Dominican Republic and my second time in the Caribbean (I had been to Puerto Rico years ago). While in the Dominican Republic, I stayed at the Barceló Bávaro Palace. It was a beautiful all-inclusive 5-star hotel located in Punta Cana. From the constant sunshine to the palm trees and beautiful crystal-clear waters, it was an amazing trip. I truly found myself wondering how such a beautiful place could exist in the world. While there, my favorite memories all involved the water. We spent so much time bobbing in the warm ocean, splashing around in the pool, and sailing along the shoreline (we used the hotel's small catamaran sailboats, pictured above). With so many great memories created, I can't wait to return.
