As the cold weather hits this winter, I am opting to stay warm with sophisticated layers of luxe wool and cashmere. Today's go-to pieces include my grey wool vest and long-sleeve cotton-cashmere turtleneck by LAFAYETTE 148 NEW YORK. Both soft to the touch and oozing with obvious style, these high-quality pieces are a must for the season ahead. With an open front cascading collar cast in elegant Punto Milano knit, I find the relaxed vest to be the ultimate throw-on layer. Layered over a classic turtleneck in a sumptuously soft cotton-cashmere blend, the combination is cozy yet perfectly refined. I have styled the vest open for an effortless finish, however the vest could also be worn belted to create a more feminine silhouette.

I've complete my winter outfit with a pair of skinny pants cut from supple faux leather with a glossy black finish and my favorite Valentino Rockstud leather t-strap pumps in black. I personally like how the combination of leather and studs adds a bit of edge to the cozy knits.
