How to Make Frozen Strawberry Rosé
I had a carton of strawberries that were really ripe and needed to be eaten… so I cut the tops off and stuck them in the freezer to make frozen strawberry rosé the next day. This recipe is very simple and doesn’t add any extra sugar or syrups - just 4 ingredients. With just the flavors of the strawberries and wine, the drink is fruity and refreshing. You can try this same recipe with any frozen fruit really. I had a container of cubed cantaloupe and did the same thing - it wasn’t as sweet but was equally refreshing!
Ingredients
2 cups of ice
1 carton of strawberries
1/2 bottle of rosé wine
Splash of Lillet wine
Directions
Place 2 cups of ice in a bowl
Add 1 carton of frozen strawberries to the ice
Pour ingredients into the blender
Add half a bottle of rosé wine
Add a splash of Lillet wine (it adds subtly fruity sweetness that is really lovely, I think).
Blend until smooth but slushy
Serve and enjoy!
