Crushing on the Lace Up Bodysuit
I'm totally crushing on lace up styling this season. While I've tried out a few different styles, the lace up bodysuit has become a favorite of mine. Inspired by the the 70s lattice shirt dress, the plunging neckline and lace up front makes for the perfect figure-revealing top. Made out of a soft stretch fabric, the top effortlessly jazzes up any outfit. Even better, like any great piece, styling the bodysuit is super easy. All it takes is a pair of denim cutoffs or high-waisted jeans to throw over and you're good to go. While flared jeans and bohemian accessories would top off this retro-inspired look, I opted to pair the bodysuit with my favorite cutoffs featuring a modern high waist. Because I have ALL fall and winter to wear jeans, and only a few more weeks to enjoy my denim shorts! However, no matter how hard I try, fall inspiration is slowly creeping into my wardrobe. Hence the faux-suede trench coat. I do however like how the classic trench balances out the very on-trend top. With an iconic longline silhouette and classic details, this piece exudes effortless ease and a major dose of refinement. Together denim shorts, lace up bodysuit, and suede trench coat is a classic pairing with a bit of an edgy twist.
