Must-Have Pieces To Rock Straight Into Spring

While I am busy going through recent travel photos from Arizona and New York Fashion Week to post as soon as possible, I wanted to quickly share today's look. This is because I remixed a few of my favorite winter pieces to create a fresh for spring weekend outfit featuring stripes.  These items are my Blank NYC suede moto jacket (previously featured here) and Madewell high rise ankle bootcut jeans (previously featured here). While both pair perfectly with cozy knits and structured dusters, today I opted to pair the winning duo with my Bishop + Young striped high neck crop tank.

Thanks to the blue skies recently in Seattle, I have been drawn to lighter fabrics and playful prints. While stripes are definitely a year-round favorite of mine, I find that they are especially appealing during the warmer months. Moreover, vertical stripes, as opposed to horizontal, are super flattering because they elongate your body. Something I would never take for granted! The striped top paired with my cropped moto jacket and vintage-inspired high-rise jeans featuring on-trend frayed hems is definitely a favorite weekend-inspired look of mine right now.
