Sarah Styles New York Fashion Week
Each season, my experience attending New York Fashion Week tops the last. While New York was anything but hospitable with its lovely below freezing temperatures (some days, it was even in the teens!), I remained on a high from the constant surge of creativity and inspiration.
On this day, I wore a suede pencil skirt and patchwork fur vest by Lafayette 148 New York and Vince. These pieces were especially great for layering, which worked out because it was especially freezing that day! The silky-soft fox fur vest by vince is a favorite of mine because of the unique patchwork in different colors. The memorable design and color lends itself to a boho vibe, which I am always a fan of! To play-up the vest's bohemian personality, I opted to pair it with a supple suede skirt by Lafayette 148 New York. The rich texture of the straight-fitting skirt, side slits, and a long belt all made the skirt a big winner in my eyes. Together, I liked how the rich chestnut suede pencil skirt and patchwork fur vest complimented each other for a vintage-inspired look.
While I loved parading around New York in this look, I also loved what I saw on the runway. On this day I attended Self-Portrait (pictured above), Hervé Léger, and Monique Lhuillier. All three are very unique brands with their own show-stopping points of view. I really enjoyed each brand's new collection! Hopefully you caught all of the action on my Snapchat (sarahstylessea)!
