How To Do Weekend Minimalist Dressing
This warm, comfortable, and totally chic sweater-dress is likely to become my new cold-weather essential, thanks to its streamlined silhouette, chic turtleneck, and neutral color. The close-to-the-curves fit makes it a dream to accessorize. Adding a shearling leather biker vest is the easiest way to instantly add that cool-girl feel to any ensemble. Just in time for the cooler months, the faux shearling instantly updates the traditionally tough biker style, making it both warm yet luxe. I particularly like how the modern hybrid is accented with silver hardware for added downtown appeal. I got sooo used to bundling up from head-to-toe while in Whistler, Canada that I was pretty excited to bare a little skin - even if it was only a handful of inches between my knee and ankle - now that I am back in Seattle!
While loading in the photos for this post, I realized that this is my first look of 2016 from Seattle! So, cheers to the new year everyone! 2015 was an incredible year. I started my blog a little over a year ago, so much of 2015 I dedicated to Sarah Styles Seattle. It has been a really great experience to share my thoughts and join a larger community that spans the globe. In thinking about the future, I have already started to plan out 2016. I am excited to be traveling all much as ever. I just booked my tickets to New York Fashion Week - so, the count-down has officially started. Please share any thoughts on content for 2016. What should I share more of? What am I not talking about enough? Where should I go next?!
In case you are as vest obsessed as I currently am, I have also linked to more outfit posts featuring vests.
