With summer clearly in sight, light wash denim has been on my radar more than ever. While escaping the city with Toyota to attend the Sasquatch Music Festival over Memorial Day weekend, I was excited to break out my latest denim find: a light wash denim mini skirt. I opted to pair my light wash denim mini skirt with a long sleeve bodysuit and espadrilles. It has definitely been a minute since I last wore a denim skirt in this style. Embracing the denim mini skirt was a bit a of '90s revival for me. However, after a day in the gently faded denim mini skirt, I am a believer once again. The lived-in fading and subtle frayed hem made the leg-flaunting denim miniskirt so fun to wear. It is definitely a wear-with-everything piece, which is exactly why you need a denim mini skirt this summer.

To my excitement, the weather in Central Washington was beautiful - it just took a three hour car ride to find it! During the day, I explored the city of Quincy, Washington. It was my first time visiting. What struck me the most was the contrast in scenery. The desert-like landscapes and breathtaking canyons had me feeling like I was in Utah or even Sydney, Australia's wine country (Hunter Valley) minus the kangaroos! This was even more true when I stumbled upon Cave B winery!
