Hello again from snowy Whistler, Canada! With Thanksgiving checked off the list and the holidays in full-swing, I've decided to jump-start the month of December with this red look! While lodge hopping in Whistler, I found this festive red winter outfit featuring a shearling jacket and plaid scarf to be both perfectly warm and totally chalet-chic.

If you're looking to get into the spirit, this cozy faux-shearling jacket in holiday red is the perfect statement piece for the holiday season. I personally love how the contrasting lapels are reminiscent of, dare I say it... Santa's suit! While the buckled-belt waistband on the jacket adds that classic biker jacket appeal. I opted to amp up the cozy factor by pairing the red shearling jacket with a red plaid blanket scarf and grey cashmere turtleneck. Blanket scarves are a favorite accessory of mine during the cooler months as they effortlessly add both warmth and style to any look. Turtlenecks are also another must-have as the temperatures drop. I've found that swapping a blouse for a turtleneck immediately updates any outfit that I am putting together.
